VitalShots (“we”, “us”, “our”) is published by Vitalizate LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, Wyoming, USA. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit https://vitalshots.blog, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

  • Email address — when you request a free guide or subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Comment data — if you leave a comment: name, email, any website you enter, plus IP address and browser user-agent (standard WordPress comment data).
  • Messages — anything you send us through our Contact page.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and approximate location (country/region), via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

We do not ask for or intentionally collect sensitive health information about you. Our content is general education, not personalized medical advice.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver the free guides and emails you request, and our newsletter (unsubscribe anytime).
  • To display and moderate comments.
  • To measure and improve our content and site performance.
  • To display advertising, including interest-based advertising (see Section 5).
  • To respond to your messages and handle corrections.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect the site.

3. Legal Bases (EU/UK visitors)

We process personal data on these bases: consent (email subscriptions, non-essential cookies), legitimate interests (site security, basic analytics, content improvement), and legal obligation where applicable. You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our partners use cookies for: Essential (basic function and security), Analytics (Section 6), and Advertising (Section 5). Where required by law (EU/UK and applicable US states), a consent management platform asks for your choices before non-essential cookies are set; you can change them anytime via the cookie settings link in our footer, or through your browser.

5. Advertising

We display advertising served through a third-party advertising network and its partners. These partners may set cookies and use device identifiers to deliver and measure advertising, including interest-based advertising based on your activity across sites. We do not control these third-party cookies. You can manage interest-based advertising at https://optout.aboutads.info and https://www.youronlinechoices.eu, and personalized Google ads at https://adssettings.google.com.

6. Analytics and Search

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures site usage. Google may set cookies and process data per its policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Opt out: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
  • Google Search Console — aggregate search-traffic data; does not identify individual visitors.

7. Email Service

We send guides and newsletters through our email service provider, beehiiv, which stores your email to deliver these messages. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

8. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share data only with service providers who run the site (hosting, analytics, email, advertising partners) under their own privacy terms, and with authorities if required by law. Note for California residents: sharing data with advertising partners for interest-based ads may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under the CCPA/CPRA — see Section 9 to opt out.

9. Your Privacy Rights

EU/UK (GDPR): access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing; you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete, correct, and to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information for interest-based advertising. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Use the cookie-settings link in our footer, or contact us.

To exercise any right, email contact@vitalshots.blog. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. Data Retention

We keep email-subscriber data until you unsubscribe or request deletion, comment data while the comment remains published, and analytics/ad data per our partners’ retention periods.

11. International Transfers

We operate from the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your data may be processed in the US and other countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards.

12. Children’s Privacy

VitalShots is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version, and material changes will be noted on this page.
